The frontman Reepo (vocals and guitar), Garrincha (bass - former Le Vibrazioni: 3 records and more than 500,000 copies sold in Italy) and Mr. Zed (drums) play a muscular, hormonal and irreverent English-speaking funky-rock of huge acoustic and emotional impact, characterized by a crushing and tight-knit groove. OCTOPUS drives the audience with the malice and the inspiration typical of the great band, communicating passion, strain and an overwhelming lust for music without compromise, always warmly rewarded by the audience of every gig.
In December 2008 OCTOPUS won the Jack Daniel's Italian Challenge, which brought the band to play in the Jack Daniel's Party in Lynchburg TN in October 2009 as the "Best Italian Underground Band".
Among the other gigs, OCTOPUS played with Deep Purple at "Mirabello Stadium" in Reggio Emilia on July 22nd 2010.
At the beginning of 2010, OCTOPUS moved to Los Angeles to start recording the new amazing album at the famous SHANGRI-LA Studio in Malibu, with legendary producer Gary Miller (David Bowie,ecc...), ready to be released.
